Yeah, I feel rather dumb. I just downloaded it and can't find any instructions anywhere on how to use it. The help link doesn't really help when I don't even know where to begin. Google hasn't helped either.
Can anyone point me to a tutorial or anything at all that will get me started?
Thanks so much!

Hi Dottyral,
Don't feel dumb! We are here to help.
TrueSizer has basic functions such as Files > Open. File > SaveAs to convert. You can also Open and print a design (File > Print).
What exactly where you hoping to do? |

Ok no problem.
1. File > Open and from the File Type menu at the moment select the file format you want to open. 2. To resize Edit > Select All and from teh size fields down the bottom you can enter the new sizes or resize with the handles.
Hope this helps! |

That did help. I got the pattern there and resized it. We'll see how it stitches up.
There are so many things TrueSizer can do apparently. Do you know of any tutorials where I can see all of the possibilities?
Thank you so much! |

| Go to windows explorer find the file right click on it go to properties there you will find an open with option then change it to ES. could be a different ways it may ask you to use a online to find the file association or choose a program on your computer, us choose program from your computer and then choose ES |

| I tried that still doesn't work. maybe I am explaining it wrong. When I go into windows explorer and find the design I right check and do open with Truesizer. but the first page that comes up is a advertisemnet. than I have to close that page and truesizer shows but the design isn't there. I have to than hit open find the design than it will open. Is there any way to just click the design and it opens the program and the design is there instead of having to find it twice. sorry I am computer stupid |

| can you see the bottom of that advertizement. If you can I believe there is an option to not show this advertizement agian. if you can't see it right click on your desk top go to properties go to settings tab change your screen resolution to the maximum then go through the process of opening a design agian and you should see the option to kill the advertizement. then go back and change your screen res where you want it that should take care of that problem let me know if it doesn't Good luck |

| Would someone please tell me where I need to install the Truesizer. When I get ready to download should I save it to my hard drive? If so, where do I go from there? (I don't mean to be so computer illiterate.) Thanks for any help. Debbie Pettis |

I downloaded and unzipped Truesizer. The result was a lot of folders - a few of them marked setup. What do i do now in order finish installing the Truesizer software?
Thank you Ron Davis |

After you've unzipped the TrueSizer.zip file, double-click the Setup application to install TrueSizer (there might be a lot of files named "Setup", but only one of them is of the type "application").

TrueSizer can't merge designs. You'll need some editing or digitizing software to do that.
If you need Help, run the program, click the "Help" menu at the top, then click "Onscreen Help..."

What medium are you using to send designs to the machine? (Floppy Disk? USB memory stick? etc)
If you are using Floppy Disks, then in the TrueSizer software, you should do "File->Embroidery Disk->Save As..." instead of normal "File->Save As...".

You need to have "NATIVE" EMB file to avoid density problems when resizing with TrueSizer. It's important that the EMB file is native.
A Native EMB file is one which was wholly created in a Wilcom product like EmbroideryStudio and saved as EMB.
If you've opened a Native EMB file, TrueSizer will automatically recalculate your stitches to preserve the proper density.
If you're using some stitch file like DST, EXP, etc, or if you have a non-native EMB, then TrueSizer will give you a warning, and only scale the stitches. This can lead to your stitches will become either too sparse or too dense if you scale it too much. TrueSizer doesn't have the capability to edit the density.
